The municipality of Alanya continues active work to put the city in order for the new summer season, including investing in the improvement of social and transport infrastructure. “By the summer season, we will have completed a project that will change the face of our region,” Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yucel said.

This is a recreation area covering the districts of Turkler, Payallar and Konakli, with a 4.5-kilometer coastline. On a huge area of ​​58 thousand square meters, many areas for active pastime are organized: a many-kilometer bicycle path along the coast, places for recreation and picnics, a pedestrian zone, children's playgrounds, cafeterias, volleyball and basketball courts and much more.

The "center of attraction" will be a two-lane bicycle zone with a length of more than 4 km. At 20 "points" organized special places for parking bicycles, which can accommodate up to a hundred such vehicles.

There will also be a parking lot for 105 cars on the adjacent territory.

Adem Murat Yucel stated that the main goal of such gigantic projects implemented in Alanya is to increase the area of "green" areas and protect the natural balance by promoting the use of bicycles.

“We have launched a mega project in Turkler, Payallar and Konakli so that our citizens can use it easily, comfortably and comfortably, while protecting Alanya beaches and ensuring their most efficient use. I hope we will present the finished project to the population at the beginning of the summer, as promised,” the mayor said.
